I am Abhirami Narayanan, a counselling psychologist with over 3 years of experience, having worked across multiple mental health platforms and conducted 2500+ sessions in both online and offline settings. I offer individual and couple therapy through secure online platforms. My work focuses on supporting clients navigating concerns such as stress, anxiety, overthinking, relationship dynamics, self-esteem and identity development, family dynamics, inner child work, academic pressure, life transitions, self-improvement, and marital concerns. I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental therapeutic space where clients feel emotionally safe, seen, and respected. My approach is integrative and evidence-based, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), in which I am formally trained, along with mindfulness-based approaches and Person-Centred Therapy. I tailor my interventions to each client’s unique needs rather than following a fixed framework. I believe in a holistic, client-centred approach that honours each individual’s pace, personal narrative, and long-term emotional growth. For me, therapy is not about fixing, but about helping individuals understand themselves better, build emotional resilience, and move towards a more grounded and meaningful life.
